This highway slices a diagonal path across MO with Springfield on its route and people here swear that road affects the weather. I'm not originally from the Ozarks so this took a little investigation and it sure does seem that storms bound for Springfield will often stop at the eye-44 highway border and follow it toward St. Louis, missing my city completely. I bet the storms feel the vibrations of destiny and just can't resist! Thanks very much for your writing and the spot on your blogroll as well!
